Marissa joined 15|40 in a unique role where she embraced both the Scenic and Events teams workflows. With a background in fabrication, including working for a prop house, she brings an acute eye for detail and a passion to the creative process. Marissa's love for live events started when she worked as a freelance Production Assistant for major studios. In her tenure with 15|40, she gets excited by team collaboration, problem solving and the ability to see an event from ideation all the way through execution. Her hobbies are as intriguing as her background, a self-proclaimed tru-crime aficionado as well a master in 3D printing, Marissa has created masterpieces that are used in the events the company produces. Amongst the office, Marissa goes by her last name (other nicknames include: McKendall, M2, Little Marissa, the 3D Whisperer and more) to avoid confusion but that hasn’t stopped a mix-up here and there.
