It is not often that careers go backwards but in the case of Mr Rutherford, that is exactly what has been happened. In a curious case of Benjamin Button- esque proportions, it seems that, now in his 50s, Eric Rutherford is having something of a renaissance.

Though Rutherford started acting and modeling in his early youth, he found a love for both creating the photo as well as what went on behind the scenes. With that excitement, he dove into both worlds. In a curious twist of fate, the production work began to outweigh the modeling and acting and by the early 2000s, Rutherford was collaborating with brands from Gap to Gucci as well as people like the iconic Oprah Winfrey. He helped to create memorable moments all around the world. Production went hand in hand with consulting work leading to a full-time role at the Hollywood Reporter as Director of Events and Special Projects.

Dedicated to bringing a positivity & ‘best life’ living to the fashion industry and culture at large, he has built a platform on social media (500K followers WOWZA) where he is focused on becoming a leader of inclusivity, equality and storytelling. He continues to use his platform to not only bolster his message but to also showcase the hard work and creativity he puts in to producing events out of the 1540 New York office.
