This retreat took over the entire resort property, temporarily renaming it to “WME17.” With six active acres across the property, we were able to offer guests an exclusive experience by building and designing a multitude of unique spaces and custom activations. One of these spaces transformed into an adult summer camp, where guests were able to enjoy some well deserved fun! Carnival-themed games, rides, oversized tee-pees that housed giant connect four, jenga and lip sync battles were just a few of the fun activations these WME campers could partake in. The lip sync battle stage also featured surprise musical performances by Wiz Khalifa and Duran Duran.
BRAND
This year's semi-annual retreat was inspired by the notable evolution of WME | IMG as a company, lots of little touches brought the brand to life and included installing custom walls showcasing the timeline over the years as the grand entrance to the foyer. While guests learned fun facts about the company’s history, there were also a number of activities to enjoy throughout the space such as a market place fruit stand, beverage station and custom bars for popcorn and candy. Guests also had the option to explore the oasis where they could play VR, read or simply relax. A warm atmosphere was established in the dining room by incorporating lush greenery and industrial elements such as wooden tables, galvanized bar stools and stringer lights suspended above the outdoor courtyard space.
