Nothing says In the Heights quite like a Dominican bodega. In salute to the neighborhood that started it all, we created an arrivals moment reflective of the film’s culture and setting. At the Plaza de Las Americas in Washington Heights, talent posed in front of an immersive street corner, highlighted by a bodega complete with a fruit stand and canisters of Café Bustelo coffee atop a vibrant yellow carpet. Celebrating the Latinx community that shapes the film, the post party was brought to life with bright, tropical florals and bulb lighting reminiscent of a backyard fiesta made for dancing the night away.
